1- What documentation do I need to access the monument?

It is essential to carry the identity document (DNI) or original physical passport with you.

2- Can I take the tickets in digital format?

Yes, without problem. They can be provided in any digital format as long as the QR is legible.

3- Do children need tickets?

Everyone needs tickets for access regardless of age. Without a ticket you will not be able to access the monument.

4- Can I modify or cancel my tickets?

Once the reservation request has been made, as it is published on the web and is explicitly accepted in several steps during the purchase process, including the last one in which the acceptance of the withdrawal policy is marked, it cannot be modified or name, date, time, or cancel the tickets, so you are not entitled to any refund. There are no possible exceptions or any reasons (COVID, illness, work reasons, trip cancellation, etc…), as published in the public regulations of the monument in the Resolution of January 16, 2020 of the Board of the Alhambra and Generalife , by which it is agreed to publish the Regulations for Visiting, Marketing and Other Public Uses of the Monumental Complex of the Alhambra and Generalife and its attached assets. It states that “The tickets purchased cannot be returned, except in the following cases”:

-When it has not been possible to make the visit for reasons attributable to the PAG (Board of the Alhambra and the Generalife)

-When some of the cases established in article 35 of Decree 40/2017, of March 7, which regulates the organization and operation of the General Treasury of the Junta de Andalucía and the collection management, concur.

The refund will be made in accordance with the procedure established in Chapter III of Decree 40/2017, of March 7, which regulates the organization and operation of the General Treasury of the Junta de Andalucía and collection management.

In no case will the amount of the management commission that has been established in the ticket management and sale system be refunded.

5- Can I accept the right of withdrawal?

No, as stated in Law 3/2014, of March 27, which modifies the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16. As indicated in its article 103, regarding the exceptions to the right of withdrawal:

l) The provision of accommodation services for purposes other than housing, transportation of goods, vehicle rental, food or services related to leisure activities, if the contracts provide for a specific date or period of execution.

6- In case of making a reservation that includes a GUIDED TOUR

If you make a booking request that includes a guided tour, you will not receive your tickets via email. Once your booking has been confirmed, you must go to our new Visitor Reception Centre, on the day and at the time of your guided tour (15 minutes before the start of the tour). There you will receive your tickets from our staff and you will be able to start the tour together with your guide.

Remember that your visit will be strictly limited to the tour that includes your ticket. If you have not booked the complete visit, with access to the Nasrid Palaces, you will not be able to visit this part. The conditions and specifications are indicated during the purchase process and in the information of the visit, tour or activity.

7- In case of making a reservation that includes an AUDIOGUIDE

The meeting point for audio-guided tours is at C. Real de la Alhambra, s/n, Centro, 18009 Granada. More information will be specified on the booking voucher.

8- Can you eat inside the Alhambra?

You cannot eat inside the Palaces, Alcazaba, Gardens or Generalife. There are certain places inside the enclosure enabled to eat, rest or go to the bathroom.

9- Is it possible to access the venue in a wheelchair?

Likewise, the Alhambra has a wheelchair loan service. These can be withdrawn in the access pavilion as long as they are available. You must prove yourself with your ID or Passport and complete the form indicated for the loan. Once the visit is over, you must return it.

10- Is it possible to visit with a baby carriage?

It is not feasible since in the Generalife and the Nasrid Palaces access with a baby carriage is strictly prohibited.

11- How can I get to the Alhambra?

There are several options:
• Urban bus: C30 and C32 from Plaza Isabel La Católica
• Walking: Preferably by Cuesta Gomérez from Plaza Nueva
• By car: From the Sierra road or the A44 motorway

12- Are there car parks nearby?

If you want to get to the Alhambra in your own car, there is a car park managed by the monument, the approximate price of which is €2.80 per hour.

13- Is there a left luggage service in the Alhambra?

Yes. The lockers are located in front of the Carlos V Palace and are free upon presentation of the Alhambra ticket.

14- What days does the Alhambra close?

On December 25 and January 1, the Alhambra will remain closed all day.

15- Is the visit canceled in case of rain?

No, the visit takes place in any weather condition.
